Giving Back
We believe that there is more to success than just profitability. Success is also about investing in your community, giving back, being a good neighbor.
We strive to be a company that is responsible socially, civically and environmentally.
Some of our efforts to partner with our community include:
- providing income opportunities for persons with disabilities;
- supplying transportation for local food bank efforts and national disaster relief;
- a financial gift toward expansion of our local hospital;
- donating cardboard trays to the Humane Society;
- sponsoring needy families during the holiday season;
- transporting Christmas trees for a local non-profit organization;
- sponsoring youth sports teams.
Recycling
Our industry produces a lot of by-product; in fact, tons of packaging material go through our facilities each week. Instead of sending that material to a landfill, we recycle it. During our busy season, we will process up to 1,800 pounds of corrugate and 1,600 pounds of shrink wrap film per day. That’s 8-9 tons of recycled material per week – the equivalent of 4 mid-sized automobiles!
